Memory Eternal!

On the morning of Great and Holy Saturday, as we began to celebrate the Pascha of the Lord, our dear Nancy Wingert fell asleep in the Lord after a swift battle with cancer. We pray that our Lord, who reigns over life and death would be merficul to her soul and grant her the joy of His Kingdom! On Friday, April 20 a beautiful Bright Week Funeral was served. She will be greatly missed! Memory Eternal! Christ is Risen!

Holy Apostles Orthodox Mission (9/08)

Welcome to Our Parish!

About our Mission

Welcome to our home on the web!

Holy Apostles Orthodox Mission is a Mission Parish of the Diocese of Eastern Pennsylvania, of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA).

Our parish has been located since December 2006 in an office suite which we have purchased. This has allowed us to set up a permanent chapel for a full liturgical cycle of services. We rejoice to have Divine Services on Saturday evenings, Sunday mornings, and throughout the week on Feast Days and other special occasions, as noted on our monthly calendar.

Founded in June 2004, the Mission has over 80 members with more than 35 children! While a young community, it has become obvious that there is a real need for the Orthodox Church in this area, as people are looking for the Truth. Dismayed with the ever-changing face of modern Christianity today, our Orthodox Christian witness shows people looking for the truth that the Church of the Apostles can be found at the Mission of the Holy Apostles in Mechanicsburg, PA.

The Orthodox Church is evangelical, but not Protestant. It is orthodox, but not Jewish. It is catholic, but not Roman. It is not non-denominational, it is pre-denominational. It has been believed, taught, preserved, defended, and died for. It is the Faith that has established the universe...

ORTHODOXY: Proclaiming the Truth since 33 AD.

If you are without a spiritual home, we welcome you to ours.
